“Dangerous Drawings, is a
deliciously dark and satirical exhibit
of acrylic and ink artwork I’ve created specifically for this installation. Each
painting challenges the accepted norms of modern society while exploring it through musical and
literary references.”
A native of Chattanooga, Doug McCoy has a lifetime of experience in art, theater and literature. He currently focuses exclusively on painting and drawing. However, the different forms of creativity he has pursued inform his highly individual 'art-rhythm' in line, harmony in color, and drama in shape and subject.

she creates abstract pieces of power and beauty.

David Harris
David Harris is a potter who specializes in beautiful implements that are intended to be used. His work is a celebration of elegance in everyday objects.
For David, working at the potter’s wheel is an enriching experience. “A piece of clay coming into balance on the wheel just feels good, “ he says. “It relaxes the body and re-centers the mind. When I go into my studio, I like to say I’m going to ‘play in the mud’”.
