MARY HELEN ROBERT Mary Helen Robert
is a native of Chattanooga, TN. She studied
Anthropology and Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University but has, since a young
age, experimented with many artistic media. She
studied metal smithing and art glass fusing at the University of Texas at Austin; jewelry
fabrication, hand engraving, and enameling at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown,
NC. She has worked extensively with Precious
Metal Clay (PMC), but has recently ventured back to more traditional metal smithing
techniques. Her jewelry designs are often
reminiscent of her travels abroad and her strong connection to the natural world. She recently returned to Chattanooga and is glad
to call it home |
